Pepperdine vs. Loyola vs. USD

Post by legallybrunette94 » Wed Feb 03, 2016 6:17 pm

Hi all :) I'm trying to choose between the above three schools. Here's the breakdown of my offers:

Pepperdine - $20k / year
USD - $24k / year
Loyola - $22k / year

I'm really leaning towards Pepperdine because ultimately I want to practice in the OC / LA area, but I'm open to arguments for the other two schools. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

What kind of law are you interested in?

How much debt will you be in?

I've been working for a criminal defense firm for 3 and a half years (during undergrad). So I'm leaning towards that just because it's what I'm familiar with, but I'm also open to entertainment law.

I'm looking at about $85k in debt so far (without need based grants or scholarships).
