I went complete on 1/16/16. I'm assuming it is a waitlist or a rejection at this point.

Who knows if that bodes well for me or not! Good luck everyone
did you get an acceptance/rejection shortly after this happened?

I would not make any negative assumptions yet. There is still much hope. BTW as I have mentioned earlier in the thread - I went complete on 12.14.2015 and STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING.Macrobian wrote:I went complete on 1/16/16. I'm assuming it is a waitlist or a rejection at this point.

I applied 1/8/16....still nothing. How long can they possibly drag this out for and why? Frustrating since Hastings seat deposit is approaching.nickarmer wrote:I would not make any negative assumptions yet. There is still much hope. I was assured when I called the Friday before last, March 25th, that I would have a response by tomorrow, April 8th. I have been given assurances like this before so we'll see if they honor that. Deposit dates for other schools begin next week so they certainly aren't going to give us much time to think about our options if we're accepted.

Also, just got an Email (Geragos) for some lunch meet. Is anyone going?

Called in. I guess now they are "going to let me know early next week." Hmmmmm. I would like to believe that but this is the third time they did not honor the timeline they set for my response. Other schools will be expecting a deposit by next week and I still don't have a response from LLS. My app went complete in 12/14/2015. This is cutting it real close.jnam806 wrote:Let us know how it went! Will be rootin for ya!nickarmer wrote:jnam806 wrote:3.7 158 should honestly get you into Loyola with $...... I might -- already signed up for the scholarship reception and preview day. I figured if I'm going to invest money and time for the next three years, might as well get as much exposure to the school beforehand.jnam806 wrote:Also, just got an Email (Geragos) for some lunch meet. Is anyone going?
Speaking of money, does anyone know when we can expect more information regarding financial aid or loan eligibility?

For those of you who have committed/made the first deposit, how did you do it? I couldn't find a link on the website but I know there were forms with the admit packet to send back in order to "officially accept". Is mailing in those forms the only way?
(I'm at my parents' house, ready to make the deposit, but didn't bring the admit packet with me...)

Applied 03/15/2016... application went into complete the next day.
Still haven't heard back or anything yet, anyone else in the same boat? I'm planning on going on the campus tour towards the end of this month and want to try to have a conversation with the Dean/Assistant Dean or someone who might be helpful to get a decision.
Does anyone know how long it will take? I feel like I'm constantly refreshing my email/status checker lol

Loyola took forever. Even for my friend who had a 168/3.4. He applied December and got his acceptance late January. Took me two months as well. Late Jan to mid March. Definitely schedule visits/tours. Talk to everyone in the admission. Would help immensely. Especially since you applied late! If you take a look at CO 2018 threads, some people didn't get in till June/July.ccozettee wrote:Applied 03/15/2016... application went into complete the next day.

Also, my status checker went from "complete" to "decision rendered." There was nothing else in between (pretty sure). I checked constantly too hahaccozettee wrote:Applied 03/15/2016... application went into complete the next day.

Hm... thanks! I just want to know already it's so nerve wrecking. Should I schedule another visit/tour other than the one I already signed up for? And would sending an email to the dean/assistant dean (maybe requesting a meeting) be too much? I'm flying to California from Chicago for a week just for the tour so I would have to have something pre-planned. Or do you think they'll be around during the scheduled campus tour? Ahhhh so many questions.jnam806 wrote:Loyola took forever. Even for my friend who had a 168/3.4. He applied December and got his acceptance late January. Took me two months as well. Won't know till you ask them Admissions was nice everytime I called to ask something. Schedule a meeting with a student ambassador, if you haven't done that yet. Also, don't send a LOCI till youre waitlisted. Otherwise, you'll have nothing to send if you get waitlisted with a LOCI in their hands hahaccozettee wrote:Hm... thanks!
