Are they giving out decent scholarships yet? I had well above medians in the 12-13 cycle and got full schollies at all the comparable PA schools and yet Pitt offered me something ridiculously low (which sucked because I would have much preferred going there). Just curious if they've gotten on board.

From what I've seen, they've gotten more generous. My offer was for full tuition.

Congrats on those accepted! I'm not a Pitt student but I'm from the city, so for those of you considering Pitt just know that Pittsburgh is a super insular market, and if you are not from the surrounding area (mostly Western PA and middle PA, maybe NE Ohio and WV), then it is going to be really tough to get a job in Pittsburgh. Maybe some current Pitt students could chime in with their own experiences, but IME there are a bunch of Pitt law students I talked to that have struggled. PM me if you want any other info!

You gradutated from PSU? If Penn State Law and Dickinson Law both admitted you, other things being equal, which one would you choose? And why?

I never actually got an acceptance email (it was very early in the cycle), but my scholarship info came with my acceptance letter via snail mail like a week later.

I have no idea. But living in Detroit does not constitute ties to Pittsburgh...
