Thank you for making this thread OP! I didn't know how to make it haha. I haven't heard back yet, but had the same questions. When did you apply/go complete?

I actually just got admitted via email right before Thanksgiving (no idea on scholly yet).

Applied 11/12, complete 11/14, accepted 11/24.

Oh, congrats! I applied 11/20, complete on 11/24, so I'm hoping it comes soon. Did they notify you via email or snail mail?

Thanks! Got an email from the Dean that said I was admitted and that a letter with more details is on the way.

Good luck!

Could be that I'm out of state? My numbers aren't that good, so not sure why.

Congrats none the less. :-)

I think our stats are about the same, but that you have a 0.2 higher gpa. You also got into UW which I was quite keen on but rejected, I'm more than a bit envious of you at the moment lol. I don't suppose you'd be willing to share with me any tidbits that you think particularly were good in your application and if you feel very generous your personal statement and any addendums you wrote as an amazing good deed for the day?

I'm a grad. Hit me up if you have any questions. Congrats to the admits! To those waiting, hang in there!

FWIW, I did not hear back until spring.

Bear with me as this was a few years back. It seems to me UCI is generally generous with its scholarship offers. Given the current legal market, people with lower numbers can get better offers than my class did when applying. But this is a bit of speculation on my part.

If I remember correctly, I got an email letting me know I was admitted. About a week or so later, I got a letter. I can't recall if that letter contained scholly info or if a second letter followed a week after. But yeah, it would have been a couple of weeks after initial word of admission at most.

I hope that helps.

Got really, really excited as I got an e-mail today, but only said:
"Thank you for applying to the University of California, Irvine School of Law!

Our office received your LSAC CAS Report on 11/12/2015"

I can't find this info on their website. Could one of the admitted students please PM me the important dates for next year - specifically, when they hold their Admitted Student Day(s)?

My decision is still pending and only recently went in review; however, I'm banking on getting accepted and need to request my holiday and book plane tickets asap (as I'm flying from Europe, so they'll go up by several $$$$ in the new year).

EDIT: P.S. I see that they say online that it is April 2016 - Admitted Students Weekend. Was just hoping you might have the exact date. :-)

Anyone else here think that Dean Chimerinsky looks like the E-Harmony guy?

Applied in October, still haven't heard back but I've seen a lot of other people get in. I'm guessing it's a no go for me. oh well.

Did anyone get a snail mail acceptance but no email?

Hmmm, I still haven't herd anything one way or another (applied 11/12/2015), they're very very quiet.

No news is good news I guess, but oy, it's nerve wracking! Have they started sending denials yet? I wonder if maybe they didn't want to deliver bad news before Christmas and that is why I haven't herd anything...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
