Re: Brooklyn Law c/o 2019
Omg in with a full ride and some change in the two year program. It's my first acceptance other than Golden Gate, which I got this morning but no scholly info yet. When I read the email, I came a little bit. However, I think I will probably get some better offers from the two I ranked schools in the Bay Area, and if I do, it would be hard to decide whether to leave my job and Cali and take off to New York. Hardcore fantasizing about the big apple though. I've never been and everybody says I'd love it there.

Brooklyn just let me know that they are increasing my scholarship offer to a full ride, after I had asked for an increase. Very happy. Definitely makes them a competitor!!

How long did it take them to get back to you and what schools did you use as leverage for more money? I am hoping to do the same thing.bkforlife wrote:Brooklyn just let me know that they are increasing my scholarship offer to a full ride, after I had asked for an increase. Very happy. Hey,
My application was complete on 12/9/15 and I'm still waiting to hear a decision. Anyone else in the same boat?

It took a little under 2 weeks. I sent all of my scholarships from other schools to my admissions counselor and I got the email with the scholarship raise yesterday afternoon.mmk142 wrote:About how long did it take the school to give you a decision about the scholarship bump?UDtoLawSchool wrote:Just received a scholarship bump from 30K/year to 35K/year with the same top 80% stipulation

Re: Brooklyn Law c/o 2019
So I just checked the status checker, and there is no longer anything populated in the Current Status / Current Date fields. But there also isn't anything populated in the Decision fields. Has this happened to anyone else, or just a glitch?

right before I was admitted everything was deleted and all it said was "Official Final Transcript" in the check boxesdbwj787 wrote:So I just checked the status checker, and there is no longer anything populated in the Current Status / Current Date fields. Goodluck tezz! I checked my status checker about 2 times today lol. I've misread the status checker and I've been in review since 1/14, not 1/4/, so I guess this makes me feel a little bit better than I'm still in the middle of the 6-8 week range. Still gives me anxiety considering this is one of my top choices

From the sounds of it, they are just slow as molasses, the wait has nothing to do with your outcome.bnssweeney wrote:Goodluck tezz! I checked my status checker about 2 times today lol.
