University of San Diego c/o 2019 Applicants
There was no thread on USD Law School so I decided to create one. I applied on 10/17.

Thank you! I applied 11/14, went complete 11/16, and now just waiting! Does anyone know when they tend to start releasing decisions or when the first ones came out last year?jesinka90 wrote:There was no thread on USD Law School so I decided to create one. I applied on 10/17.

I applied on 10/17 and went complete on 10/19 and nothing since then. I went to an open house for prospectice law students and they said they will most likely not start reviewing applications for RD until after the New Year.sbenj wrote:Thank you! Re: University of San Diego c/o 2019 Applicants
I applied back in 2010, and my Facebook memory thing came up today with my post from five years ago where I shared that I had got in. So, should they be consistent with that it would be around now they let people know.sbenj wrote:Thank you! I applied 11/14, went complete 11/16, and now just waiting! I'm made a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE schoolboy error on my application though this year. I put the wrong name of the school on my addendum (I know, I know - I was in a rush before being kicked out of the Library). I fessed up and e-mailed them, but who knows if they'll let me in this time...

I was told by a few friends that USD might deny me because I'm too much above the medians. Apparently schools want to keep a high ratio of acceptance to matriculants but USD is like 10 mins from my house...

It's absolutely gorgeous and its in a good area of San Diego (about 10-15 minutes from downtown, 10-15 minutes from the beach).Xnegd wrote:How is the campus? The library is beautiful. When it's lit up at night, since it's at the top of a hill, you can see it when driving past Mission Bay (an area of San Diego) and it looks like a castle.
My sister's high school graduation was at USD- it's a really good looking spot.

On the status checker, was the box with the transcripts always there? Mine says "final transcript received: no" and there are two transcript things in there. Am I crazy to think that was recently added?

That has always been there. It is referring to the final transcripts that will be sent to them by the LSAC should you accept admission.sbenj wrote:On the status checker, was the box with the transcripts always there?
