Does Minnesota have any sort of pipeline to, say, Chicago?

Re: Minnesota C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016 cycle)
I called Admission earlier this week because I got tired of waiting for a response - I applied and went complete on the first week applications became available. An assistant director stated that they have not released any acceptance or denials yet, and are expecting to release them within two weeks. I hope this information helps all of you cope with the wait.

It's mezzo-mezzo. UMN's never had the best reach for biglaw. For those who do nab it, Chicago's the second-biggest market after Minneapolis.splitterfromhell wrote:Does Minnesota have any sort of pipeline to, say, Chicago?

I do not know either. I called them two weeks later and then they were more ambiguous. Maybe it will be this week, but who knows? I stopped caring last week so it is up to anyone of you to call them and keep us updated. Sorry I could not be more helpful.

Interesting. Mine is marked as "in review" w/o any corresponding date. :/ So sometime after my last post they started reviewing my file haha.Troianii wrote:sent Nov. 1, complete Nov. 3.

Checking in! Applied November 15th. Minnesota is one of my favorites, so I'm hoping for an offer that makes matriculating a possibility.

For those of you who received phone calls--- did your status check change? I have been "under review" with no date on my status checker for eight weeks exactly today and am dying to know when I will get a decision.

Congrats to everyone who has gotten in and good luck to those still waiting. I just got the call at 11:46 PST. I was in class but the voicemail was good enough!
