In today via email. Looking forward to the financial aid email but based on what others have said here, expecting a big ol' goose egg. Has anyone tried requesting an extension on the deposit deadline? There's no way I'm dropping $300 to ride out a $0 offer.

That could be a good idea. Tried to negotiate a scholarship but no go.SlithyTove wrote:In today via email. What was their response? Was it a hard 'no', or did it sound like they'd be open to it after the deposit deadline? Did you have other offers that you used as leverage?adj8103 wrote:That could be a good idea. Tried to negotiate a scholarship but no go.SlithyTove wrote:In today via email. I certainly understand your concerns about financing your legal education and getting the best scholarship offer available. It looks like you have some competitive offers to choose from when selecting which school to attend. At this time, all of our scholarship funding is exhausted for next year. I’m certainly happy to flag your file for additional consideration should funding become available later but the earliest that any funding might become available is not until May. My best recommendation to you would be to make your decision regarding Denver Law based on not having a scholarship to attend as there is no guarantee that funding would become available in the future.

ETA: Sorry for the interrogation; just trying to get a clear picture of where I stand. I really appreciate your response.
