Received my acceptance packet today. The letter includes scholarship information and dates for admitted students days. Pleasantly surprised with everything so far!

:/ no. Really just a matter of location for me. Because of the location I consider it a safety, but I wouldn't knock it either - very good job prospects for its ranking.Chortitza wrote:Congrats! Agreed. Have to appreciate the way CU is respected in the Omaha. I was disappointed with the newest bar passage rate though, 72 percent isn't good!Troianii wrote::/ no. That'll bounce from time to time, even at good schools. Looking at any law school, if it has one bad year in the last 5, I'd disregard it (same of course for one good year).Chortitza wrote:Agreed. Yeah I honestly don't know if Creighton or Nebraska would give better job prospects in the area. You think Creighton will?

Yeah, that's a fair point. The year before was 79 percent, which is closer to the last couple of years. Hopefully it was just a down year.Troianii wrote:That'll bounce from time to time, even at good schools. As far as job prospects go, my understanding is that Creighton places better in Omaha while Nebraska generally places better in Lincoln and the rest of the state. I know a few Creighton grads that made their way to KC, Denver, and Minnesota as well. From what I hear the smaller alumni base in bigger cities other than Omaha works to your advantage because they're excited to see other CU grads in their area.
