From what I'm hearing, they set up alumni interview where possible. They will locate an alumni in your geographic area if possible for interview.gamerish wrote: Do they do skype interviews? Does anyone know if Gtown sends you an email as soon as your status updates from completed to either interview requested or decision?

I was accepted last week and my application checker status is still at "application completed." I got an email when they offered me the interview but I didn't get an email when they made a decisionhammocklv06 wrote:Does anyone know if Gtown sends you an email as soon as your status updates from completed to either interview requested or decision?

Do you know what they base the interview requests off of?

Has anyone been asked to interview after already being "completed"?

How do I know the date that I went complete? My status is completed for now, but I do not actually know when my profile was marked complete by Gtown..

I don't think there's any way to tell, I submitted last Thursday and no idea when I went complete. Upon reading the status checker email more closely, they don't update status beyond complete, etc. "Once the status check page indicates that an application is complete, it will not update again, even once a decision is made."kangaroo430 wrote:How do I know the date that I went complete? I have an alumni interview scheduled for tomorrow. Can anyone who's been through the process give me some advice on what to expect/questions I should be prepared for? Thanks.

I think there are only a few mandatory questions. My conversation was super casual and a lot of it was my alumnus telling me about how he got to Georgetown and what he experienced there. He seemed like a really cool guy.
After having done only two interviews so far, I can tell you to expect "Why Law?" Or "Why this school?". Aside from those, my interviews have felt more like conversations to be honest. In my GULC interview my interviewer went through my resume a bit to ask questions about a few things he thought were interesting.
Good luck and don't stress

In!!!!
Submitted 10/26, Complete 10/30, Letter postmarked 11/9 (just got here to the other side of the planet today...)
Since the beginning of my law school considerations, GTown was always at/near the top of my list - so I'm super hyped! Also my first T14, which feels pretty great.
Got the letter about five minutes before a skype interview with another school significantly lower on my list... it took a bit of effort not to blow it off entirely.

Sounds interesting enough as far as an interview style?

So is there no need to prepare answers to typical interview questions - Why Law, Why X School, etc.?redsxfan2010 wrote:Wow, my apologies for completely missing that.WinterComing wrote:Check this from above:redsxfan2010 wrote:Has anyone had a group interview?
