I'm placing bets on Cornell, UVA, or GULC.urbanist11 wrote:It seems like each year there's a new destination for a big group of TLS megaposters, like before GULC it was WUSTL. Anyone else get a group interview request? They are only offering them in a couple of east coast cities right now though

Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Received one today as well. Pretty surprised since I am below their medians for both GPA and LSAT. Not getting my hopes up too much, but at least it's a good sign.thelincolnlawyer wrote:Just got a group interview invite. I think this is due more to the fact that I live in DC rather than being a super-competitive applicant. Seems like in the past people thought it was YP measure so it's good to know it's not totally stats-based.

Oh that does sound fun! I guess this isn't a good enough excuse for me not to apply.benwyatt wrote:I actually did the group interview when I applied two cycles ago and it was pretty fun.barley wrote:Ugh that sounds awful, I hate group interviews.tflan19 wrote:Anyone else get a group interview request? At Andy's request, I won't discuss the details, but it's activity based and you work on teams. All in all I found it an enjoyable experience and I wouldn't get nervous or annoyed if you get a request for one.
I'm a champ at standard interviews though so I still think I'd prefer that.

I got an invite. My stats have me at 90% for Georgetown so I'd be surprised if it is a YP move.

Checking in. Thoughts on how the 25th percentile dropping to 161 for the class of 2018 might affect things?
