Now that everything is pretty much over, what are your thoughts on Stanford Law?

Umm, it's the best fucking school in the entire goddamned world. I will be there this fall and am personally just grateful that I get to post in the C/O 2019 thread, where we actually have a real OP in fliptrip. Eat caca and die, Dcc617. Your parents hate you.

It's chill bro, but I was already set on Harvard or Yale anyway. I got my shades on to block out all that shade from CA. Enjoy the earthquakes, hippies.

I personally can't stand Stanford, its administration, and especially its admissions office. I waited patiently for 4-7 months only to get waitlisted or rejected less than a week before May. Seriously, go home Stanford, you're drunk (unless you accept me off the waitlist, then I will love you)

Meh, I mean, this was a total long shot for me. I just wanted to see what would happen. This is what I thought would happen.

I'm totally indifferent to Stanford, because I am super happy with the option I am going with. Grow up, Dcc617. You're embarrassing yourself with this poll.

I will be Seymour Asses from Futurama, and Stanford is my Fry. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? I WILL FUCKING DIE ON THE WAITLIST!

I am a lurker. I may not have even applied anywhere this cycle. My motives for lurking this thread are entirely inscrutable and apparently I have nothing better to do with my life.

Dcc617, stop making every other poll option about yourself. While you are very handsome, your constant narcissism and self-indulgence has become off-putting.

Still here. Is there any word of acceptances going out lately? Or nothing but bad news?

Status has just now been updated to DLS. I applied close to the last date. Going to call and find out if it is WL or ding.

There are less than two weeks until their deadline for decisions. How long before they pull the goddamn trigger?

Still here but complete 2/4 so probably haven't been looked at yet.

I did visit the school though and sat in a class, was a pretty cool experience. Apparently most of the 3Ls actually live bohemian lives in downtown SF and drop by the school occasionally for the odd exam or already-in-the-bag OCI.

I'm wondering if there's a statistical pattern to these WLs. Any WL'd folks mind sharing their stats?

This most recent wave had a bunch of people with really awesome stats/other offers

I'm sure you can reach out to them individually, but it certainly seemed to include a large amount of highly achieving applicants

I'm wondering if they are holding the rest of us because they aren't quite sure what to do with us yet. I would think that we will have a few more acceptances, lots of WLs and a few more rejections.

Oh yea complete in October.

I have a new poll ready for when decisions finally drop for everyone. I've been refusing to update it as a protest.

I'm chaining myself to the status checker in protest

Sent a LOCI and have a Stanford specific LOR incoming. Here's hoping that this will push me over.
