I am pretty sure I know the answer to this, but are there any recent completes among the admits?

Hm...Penn w/l's everyone, even Ben Franklin's descendants, so little can be concluded from that. And Chicago seems to be much more concerned with high GPA than Columbia. Not sure if that applies to you, but Chicago's GPA median is higher than Yale's, which is crazy.rska884 wrote:After the WLs from Penn and Chicago I thought I had no chance... this is the best! It does, I'm a splitter. Numbers-wise I just had a worse chance here than anywhere else I applied, but it's also my number 1 choice, so of course I was more pessimistic.fliptrip wrote:Hm...Penn w/l's everyone, even Ben Franklin's descendants, so little can be concluded from that. I'd guess they do, but I am not sure. I do know that the first rejects came out last year around the 3rd week of February, so it's definitely too early to be expecting bad news.minionsunite wrote:Do rejections come via e-mail? Congrats to all the new admits!!

Just got my admit email but in the attached letter it said to review the "enclosed admitted students handbook" but it was not attached anywhere to the email. Did anyone else have this?

The admit letter is a pdf of the one that will arrive along with the rest of the admissions materials -- enclosed is referring to the entire envelope you will receive, not the email.grgregregre wrote:Just got my admit email but in the attached letter it said to review the "enclosed admitted students handbook" but it was not attached anywhere to the email. So, when you say "just got" do you mean the past few minutes or sometime in the past couple of hours? And congratulations!grgregregre wrote:Just got my admit email but in the attached letter it said to review the "enclosed admitted students handbook" but it was not attached anywhere to the email. You guys that were admitted today -- when did you have interviews (if you had them)? I had my interview last week, did anyone with an interview that recent get in today?

Seems like everyone who's been accepted so far applied in Sept. or Oct? Anyone who applied in November or later get accepted yet?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
