Held over to Regular Decision. Hoping an improved score on the December LSAT will push me over.

Also moved to RD! Do they reject or waitlist anyone directly from ED or just move us all to RD?

no dls yet... but when I log into the DLS site, it shows a different complete date than the checker (3 days later) -- do we think my decision has been made and they're just waiting for the wave? does it just take a few days between updating "complete" on the status checker and the DLS site? other theories?
commence speculation.

I only have a completion date on the DLS site, not on the status checker. Applied mid-Nov, interviewed a couple days later. DLS completion date is about 10 days after the application was received, so I'm guessing it hasn't been updated since my file was initially completed.ltbenn wrote:no dls yet... but when I log into the DLS site, it shows a different complete date than the checker (3 days later) -- do we think my decision has been made and they're just waiting for the wave? does it just take a few days between updating "complete" on the status checker and the DLS site? other theories?

With absolutely nothing to back this up, your dates sound like there's a decision coming soon on your file.

I've been ascribing to this wishful thinking, too. I've been complete on the status checker since early November but on the DLS site it's 12/15.Mrs Featherbottom wrote:I only have a completion date on the DLS site, not on the status checker. your dates give a little bit more credence to the theory, imo - here's hoping NU shows us some love, already!slippin_jimmy wrote:I've been ascribing to this wishful thinking, too. Yo, call! That's a long time to be on hold without them looking at your app. I'll be calling tomorrow just to make sure there isn't a glitch. Given that it's an online forum (or at least for me it was), there really shouldn't be a huge delay.maracuya wrote:Over a month for me.cdavis1024 wrote:Yes -_- it's been 4 days.jnwa wrote:Anyone else still incomplete after submitting interview?

Lol I know... I really should. I'm hesitant though because my alumni interviewer is handling my application and it's not going through the regular channels, so I'm waiting it out. I should definitely give someone a call.cdavis1024 wrote:Yo, call! That's a long time to be on hold without them looking at your app. I'll be calling tomorrow just to make sure there isn't a glitch. I called the admissions office in a similar situation - just frame it as "making sure there isn't anything else expected from me". If it actually is just the interviewer, they'll confirm that you had the interview already and then follow up with the interviewer on their end. Mine flipped to complete later that day.maracuya wrote:Lol I know... I really should. People way overthink getting in touch with the admissions office... if you have a legitimate question, they have no issue with you calling in. They all go as far as to specify that we should do that.

Re: Northwestern c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
So I dialed the number for Admissions and as I listened to their automated greeting I thought maybe I should check my status checker one last time just to make sure I'm not magically complete after all these days. And I was!rska884 wrote:I called the admissions office in a similar situation - just frame it as "making sure there isn't anything else expected from me". Glad I checked! Thank you for your insight though, rska. Good to know other people are being recruited in this manner as well.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
