Re: Northwestern c/o 2019 Applicants
I applied to Northwestern on the 21st and haven't received any emails from them. Is this normal?

How long after submitting your fee waiver form did it take to receive a response?

Can anybody give me a brief rundown of the type of questions they received in their off-campus alumni interview?

Are a lot of NU applicants going to withdraw? My question is that, is this a top choice for anyone ITT?

The confirmation email I got when I submitted quoted me 24-48 hour turnaround time for waiver codes. Did you get a confirmation email? If so, just give them a call tomorrow and tell them you haven't received the code.ArmyRN wrote:Friday evening.I got a response the next day. How long ago did you request?

Re: Northwestern c/o 2019 Applicants
I love the school and would be happy settling down there for three years. However, without any merit, which I believe they will give out due to the Pritzker's endowment, I could get on board.James.K.Polk wrote:It's mine, though my interest has been wavering. Without the 50k scholarship, I don't know that it would be. But given that I'm one of the heaviest splitters I've come across on TLS, it's a lot of cash at a pretty great school, which I don't expect everywhere.fips tedora wrote:Are a lot of NU applicants going to withdraw? It's my top choice, but I want to come back home to Chicago and both my dad and brother have gone to Northwestern, so there's a lot of family ties in it is as well. I'm EDing but anticipating getting dumped into RD and retaking the LSAT.fips tedora wrote:Are a lot of NU applicants going to withdraw? My question is that, is this a top choice for anyone ITT?

I am really really scared by your description of the online interview.Hildegard15 wrote:I feel that way too!!!Petrichor wrote:ehh feel like i bombed the online interview
So I chose to have an off-campus interview in a city 777 miles from where I live.
Of course, another reason is that I want to meet someone who has been there.

I feel like the best option is the on-campus. While the off-campus is probably less stressful than the online, it may not have the same impact as online or on-campus, whereas on-campus affords more time to answer questions than online.

Re: Northwestern c/o 2019 Applicants
the questions weren't particularly brutal I think the time you have to respond is pretty constrictive and you don't have the option of saying something like "let me think about that for a moment" since the clock is ticking.Hildegard15 wrote:Well, you shouldn't take everything I say seriously. Hence why on-campus is the best option, in terms of impact and allotted time to answer questions.Petrichor wrote:
