the only reason that I remember my account number was because I filled it in everytime I used a scantron for a preptest lol

I wouldn't go so far as "intense hatred", but I find it stupid so you're not alone. One of my friends really enjoys it for whatever reason. One time she took something and didn't put something back in its place. If I'm gonna go look for something, it better be expensive. What fun is it getting obvious clues anyways (I actually don't really know how it works). I'd rather go climbing or play ultimate or something. I guess I'm not so opposed that you couldn't disguise it as "hiking" and I'd be cool. But if you ended up on your phone the whole time and we were walking out of the woods with a lunch box, I'd be pissed.

One receives coordinates to where the geocache is located (general area), then most of the time, there are encrypted messages that need decrypting to figure out the final clue as to where the geocache is near. I love it because I love hiking, and backpacking, and it's fun to find them. Sometimes there's gift where you take one and leave one, and sometimes, you simply sign the book and go about your business. It's more fun when there are multiple ones spread throughout a town/city and you make a day of it while exploring a place.

Okay...That's kinda what I expected. Yea not really my flavor unless it's super intense, like wading through rivers, climbing/steep hiking, and/or really difficult clues (I prefer the expending of energy to the "reward"). I think it would be too easy if it were in a town/city - you can just google stuff. But I guess to each his own.

They vary by difficulty levels. Most of the geocachers who find them do not explicitly state where they are, and one of the hardest ones I ever found (underneath a bridge on a column you can only get to by jumping from one column to another over the river) was in a city. There are super intense ones, however, navigating, decrypting, and exploring are right up my alley (eagle scout).

I've played during the summers when my friends and I were stuck at the cc and couldn't play golf. I prefer golf for networking, yet it's good to be decent at both. I haven't played since college, when I wanted to bone this girl who played on the school's tennis team.
