Does this literally mean that a school with stats that are:

GPA - 3.5
LSAT - 170

Would end up with:

GPA - 3.5 x 0.10 = 0.35
LSAT - 170 x 0.125 = 21.25

That can't be right, that's crazy disproportional
I don't think they're saying that you multiply the LSAT score by the weight, but that LSAT scores account for 12.5% of a school's ranking and GPA make s up 10%.

:? Hopefully Mike will chime in saying it's not the case. My GPA is fine, but at or slightly below median for a lot of T-14s..

urbanist11 wrote:LOL that gif  I'll take either, though it always seems easier for schools to hold their gpa medians. In related news, doesn't seem like Berkeley has gotten much press on this thread. Anyone else planning on applying there?
I'd probably take it over NYU, Penn, or just about anything except the T5. Those bastards wait listed me last year, but now I have a higher score.

But my GPA is low for Berkeley, and my LSAT was low, so I wasn't surprised to get wait listed. I took it as lending credence to their holistic admissions, which impressed me. Plus I would love to live in San Francisco.

Solid numbers Seamus. Have you done the mylsn.info chart? Also, not to be pedantic, but you have a typo on your profile. It should say than* instead of then. HTH
