Other departments at the company are already trying to scoop me up so I'll probably be just fine.
In other news, I'm at a sportsball game with some friends and coworkers/fellow firees.
I'm sure you'll land on your feet.
Til then, you can enjoy some free time and gloat at/entertain us when we're bored at work!

You all vastly overestimate the amount of the checks and vastly underestimate the cost of living here.
You don't have to stay there, do you? Go couch surf and see friends, stay with family, travel, etc. Do whatever you want until you start law school and cannot for the rest of your working life. You're more than likely going to end up back in NYC with an AnBryce, anyways.

Are you not allowed to sublease? I've never lived in NYC, so I don't know how housing works there. Although, I am familiar with its prices, as the condos that surround my place in Chicago rent for similar prices to Manhattan.

I honestly can't remember if I'm allowed to or not, I'd have to check my lease. At that point, I think it just gets annoying to work out.
I'll see what my options are if the other teams here don't snatch me up, but I currently have VPs and Executive Directors reaching out to me, so I'm taking that as a good sign.
I ain't mad at ya, go and get that paper, boo boo.

My alma mater just refused me a fee waiver even though I'm above both their 75ths.
And I actually would be happy going there but I don't wanna spend the app money.
