May the ghost of Thomas Jefferson haunt you forevermore.
Don't tell anyone, but TJ was my favorite founding father in high school. My dad stormed out of the room when I told him that, then stormed back in telling me all the reasons why TJ sucked and Hamilton was the greatest ever. Now having said that, my family is clearly weird.
Why does your dad hate the bill of rights
I mean, TJ was kind of a dick for choosing to enslave his own children.
Was it ever proven he actually had children with his slaves?

Coming back to this thread after a shitty 2 hour commute:

Edit: Also, not entirely sure how I feel about this whole Hoo2 thing after remembering the Rwandan genocide.

let's go back to talking about how cornell is discriminating against people based on their location even though they're in Ithaca
Seriously though. A guy with a FREAKING DILLARD doesn't get a waiver from Cornell. I DEMAND ANSWERS.

Edit: Also, Ithaca may be the worst place on the face of the planet in winter.

I was listening to an NPR piece on that on the way home. Apparently the chess match wasn't the greatest ever, and it wasn't even the best of the tournament.

FWIW the movie looks decent. But who even knows.
Yeah, I caught the interview like half of the way through so I don't know who they were talking with, but they basically said that you're fine if you don't know much about chess (which I'm in that camp), but if you are an aficionado, you'll be annoyed.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
