Except the South of course, because that's no man's land.

I'm not biased to any area, just certain states. Specifically Ohio, Indiana and South Carolina.

I think no such thing. But I am from the Northwest. I bet they are STILL more southern than anything I've ever seen.

The Mason-Dixon line is a silly way to draw a distinction. Say you were applying to medical schools, would you be wary of Johns Hopkins?
