Just had a random crazy thought,

Is there any way that law schools can know how many times I have checked their status checker? Because if so, they are all going to think I'm insane. :D

On a related note, in an old 2011 A2Z blog post, Michigan's Dean Z talked about applicants trying to access the admitted students website before they revamped their online status checker.

Not that it's any of your business, but I'm facebook friends with a bunch of co-workers, and I haven't yet shared that I'm planning to quit and go to law school in six months. Even the small risk that my boss would notice it in my list of groups on the side of my profile isn't worth taking.
Wasn't actually directing that part to you since I remember you complaining about that issue previously...Dunno why you think you're so special, though that i'd be targeting you.
Someone asked a question. I answered it. I'm not sure why you said anything at all.

But you're right, you treat everyone on here in the same unseemly, disagreeable way. I'm not special.

Good luck with your cycle.
I was going to stop reading threads that involve Lymenheimer's condescending remarks, but then I realized he has trolled every single thread on this site. get a life bud.

Just food for thought, but what do you think the percentiles for the LSAT would be like if everyone over 18 in America took it?

Oooooh, that sucks. If it helps, I've been under review at Berkeley for 2 months with nothing, so maybe you didn't even lose your place in line.

Yeah, it's a good thing I applied to wide breadth of schools. I just hope I didn't just lose a scholarship offer from Berkeley.

Oh hey for everyone thinking about financial aid! Did y'all already fill out your FASFA and Need Access Application? Some schools have deadlines for that by the first week of February.

Ugh, don't remind me. My (divorced) parents have been throwing a fit about the amount of information Need Access wants from each of them, when I've been out of the house for nearly 10 years.

So much this. I'm in the exact same situation and it was soooooooo annoying to get the ridiculous amount of information Need Access requires out of each of them, plus a stepparent who has never, and almost definitely will never, contribute in the slightest to my educational funding. Not looking forward to updating the forms once 2015 taxes are filed...

Do you know, off-handedly, which schools require it sooner? I asked my parents to aim for Feb 15, and can definitely sort through each school individually, but if you know....

I do not know. But for most schools they only differ from each other by one or two questions. And you only have to fill out one application regardless of how many different schools it for and each school will just tack on its question at the end in the 'school specific questions'

So there's basically no point to me filling out FAFSA if my parents make over $200,000 and I'm under 26, right?

same question... we didn't do FAFSA for undergrad for this reason. Will i still have to do it for law school if I don't expect need-based aid but do want to apply for loans?

I'm pretty sure a lot of schools said you need to fill it out if you want to be considered for ANY kind of aid, including merit aid and definitely including loans. Honestly, after doing Need Access the FAFSA is a piece of cake, so if that's all you have to do consider yourself lucky...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
