I would take the 150 from UM personally, but I think it would be very much a judgement call based on your desired location after gradauting and during school. It's a nice problem to have in any case.
Yeah, I think this is ultimately a decision that only you can make, since it involves weighing a lot of personal preferences.
ETA: Congrats, though! That's amazing!

On a similar note, just got an email invitation to apply (write an essay) for a Levy. Complete in late November, admitted 2-3 weeks ago.

Haha it isnt a bad problem at all, but is pretty conflicting. I'm from the Midwest and really would not mind being back there - I miss the friendly people and quirkiness. I'd also like to do biglaw straight out of LS, but would be OK with it being in a smaller market (cbus, Cleveland, etc)

Thanks!! Do you (or does anyone) know if employers look at a mich degree as strongly as a penn degree? Outside of US News rankings, are they p much peer schools or is Penn definitely the better one?
Also, CONGRATS ON THOSE LEVY INVITES EVERYONE!!

Got the email about the Toll Public Interest scholarship, but they send that to everyone (I think). Might apply anyways.

Penn is generally considered stronger, but it's a negligible difference. Certainly not 40k in debt stronger.

Does anyone know off hand if these invites continue going out for awhile or whether they are in one swift wave? I'm kinda assuming one wave because of the quick deadlines and feeling left out

Congrats to the Levy and Wilson invites! Did all of the invites for these scholarships come around the same time? Trying to keep the faith over here!
ETA: not suggesting that I would necessarily be in the running for these, but a guy can hope!

Hey guys, I got the Wilson invite this morning as well... Congratz to everyone!!!
I haven a question though - I haven't decided whether to go forward with the essay yet, but if not, do I have to formally notify the admissions office to withdraw my candidacy? Or do I just not submit anything until the deadline passes and that's it? Just wanted to see if anyone here knows before I try to call the admissions office

In the Levy email, it specifically said to let them know if you intend to not apply. Not sure if that is also true of the Wilson, though.

Oh hmm, the Wilson email does not explicitly say this, but if the Levy email does, then I think it might be better to notify them just in case... Thanks!

Do most people who go UR 2 before they tweet about decisions typically get a decision on that day?

Took me three weeks for a decision post UR2...I've seen others get decisions in two. Though I definitely stared at my phone for hours on all the decision days in between my UR2 and my actual decision.

Super happy about the Levy!! I wonder what percent of invitees receive the scholarship?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
