I submitted 9/17, went UR 9/21, and am still there. Applied to RTK and am pretty much an identical applicant to Jimmy, so who knows!doublehoohopeful wrote:There goes that theoryslippin_jimmy wrote:Yes, I applied for schollies (RTK, AnBryce) and am UR2doublehoohopeful wrote:Me too. Yikes. Thank you though, I will do that.basedvulpes wrote:I heard back the day after I applied, I would suggest you give their admissions office a call.sockstcat wrote:I submitted 10/10 and haven't received any correspondence from NYU, not even a "we have received your application" email. They're the only school I haven't heard from, and I've gone complete at most of the others. LSAC says they did request my CAS report on 10/12. Is this just how they do things? Sorry if this is something I should have looked up myself.

Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Similar thought process here. When I was visiting before applying to schools for undergrad it felt like NYU didn't have much of a campus or community, which was something I wanted for undergrad...now not only is NYU a very prestigious law school, but it has what I want because it's NYC (which is where I want to be living) and the lack of a campus doesn't matter because I'm much more interested in being in a big city and engaging with that than I would be a smaller campus community. NYU is definitely my first choice because of the public interest offerings as well. I hope news moves faster this year, though if not I'll be patiently waiting until December! (also yes my hype level has no limit)James.K.Polk wrote:Wasn't that impressed with NYU undergrad, but their law school is more prestigious (and, I think, I'm looking for considerably different things in a law school). Hope to hear good news soon.

Did anyone who went to the Atlanta LSAC Forum get the name of the NYU rep?

Same here. Why would you be more concerned?benwyatt wrote:I'm still UR1.
At this point, I think I'd be more concerned if I got UR2.

UR1 for well over a month now. Is there any past meaning people have found with UR dates?benwyatt wrote:Because we're all neurotic here.zty wrote:Same here. Why would you be more concerned?benwyatt wrote:I'm still UR1.

Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
So no one has found anything meaningful from them it seems. We should probably speculate something crazy and random then. One UR1 = Auto Admit?benwyatt wrote:Generally wrote:UR1 for well over a month now. At this point, I think I'd be more concerned if I got UR2.What to Expect When You're Expecting wrote:NYU goes from complete to UR quickly. You may not have the same number of UR dates. It appears there is a slight pattern to the UR changes (those who submitted on the 20th then have the 23rd, 29th, and 1st, before DLS on the 10th, etc) but not significant.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
