I applied on 9/20. Interview offered last week, interviewed this week, admitted after the interview.

Sorry if my numbers throw off your predictions. If it helps, I have some decent PI softs and a strong PI-oriented PS and 'Why UVA' essay.

Congrats!!! Based on this I'm betting I'm probably being waitlisted (YP?)... (171/3.8 with likely similar PI softs, PS and why UVA). I went complete 9/11, interviewed 9/15, and still nothing. Wishing I'd been interviewed by Cordel.

I think there's hope! You have identical stats to another PI person who got admitted, and very very similar to mine as well.

I keep telling myself that. People last year seemed to get stuff up until a month out from applying in September. Still from everything I have seen, and I have been ocd neurotic searching, if you applied in September and don't here by end of October you are probably waitlist.

I'll keep all that in mind, and try not to give up hope until mid-october. I think it's just hard because I've seen people interviewing after me (even with the same interviewer) who have gotten in. Mylsn actually says that I'm a 42% chance though, so I think I'm just trying to keep expectations reasonable and not let anxiety mess with my head.

Easy, last year many applicants who were rejected/waitlisted/pending ended up at a T6.
