Just a general question:

If you are accepted off the wait list at one school does that mean that you have to remove yourself from other wait lists? thanks!

No. A few schools have language that requires withdrawing from other schools when you deposit, but you should check with the schools you are deciding between. In no way does an acceptance mean you have to withdraw from other wait lists.

If a school is really hard-charging about YP they might include some language demanding you withdraw elsewhere, but it's not the default. Just read the letter carefully.
