i am wait listed for the fall program..didnt apply for the may program..wondered if it helps to be in the may program..

I received a generic email on Friday (5/1) letting me know the status of my application on the wait list. The email said I could still be considered for the May program which starts on the 19th. It looks like they're having trouble filling seats? It does seem like a good program, but it seems like a gamble if I tell them to consider me for May, in terms of potentially ruining my chances for being accepted into the full-time program in the fall.
