Waitlist Purgatory Class of 2018
Hey folks. I've been waitlisted/reserved/held at Northwestern, Columbia, Cornell, Georgetown, and, as of today, Chicago. This thread is a shoutout/commiseration invitation to all of my fellow TLSers who are sitting on a boatload of "maybe"s. Godspeed, people. What are you doing to up your chances? Anybody out there get into these schools of the waitlist in the past? Tips, horror stories, and questions welcome.

Waitlisted at U W and Boston College. As Hbett asked, I would also appreciate some advice about getting accepted off of a wait list! I've sent LOCI's and plan to do campus visits, meet with Adcom members, etc. However, I am unsure how to approach these and would appreciate some tips & input from someone with more experience!
