In review since 11/24, then date changed on 12/5 but SC still says IR. Anyone been admitted yet?

I was fortunate and ended up getting a biglaw job in dc at a great firm--can't say that's the norm however.

I can say that hiring has picked up since I was there (from talking with others)--for example, there were a fair amount of firms that participated in OCI this year that hadn't in years past

Complete 10/21
Decision 11/14

Never had a under review. I was planning on visiting the school and unforeseen circumstances came up and I had to cancel. Shortly after I received my acceptance

Prior to answering, just know I never took a health law class and could only list off a couple people I knew doing the health certificate/or were on the health journal

Of those people, a couple do regulatory work at firms. Epstein Becker usually hires someone from umd, but not sure how many or the stats of the people who got hired. Apart from that firm youl see the occasional rando umd person from umd at a huge firm (I think I've seen one at Arnold Porter but don't know them). I don't know how govt prospects are (I don't really even know how many people do the certificate)

I'd say do it if you want to do health law, but I can't knowledgeably opine on the value, sry brah

^^

Fed Clerkships: your chances are like any none elite school (good luck)

State Clerkships: Several people go to md's SSC each year

fyi clerkships at the fed/ssc level go fast and early

DOJ: I think a couple people ended up doing the honors program from my year (i'd recommend applying for SLIP for 2L summer if you want DOJ), not sure what components those people did however. Just like federal clerkships, you'll need some luck due to the competitiveness.

Hey guys! Congrats to all who have been admitted thus far. I received an acceptance email on Dec 19, but haven't received an acceptance package yet as the email said I would. Has anyone else who received an acceptance email on Dec 19 received their package? For those admitted earlier in the cycle, how long did it take for you to receive your acceptance package after receiving the email?

I'm just trying to figure out whether the holidays has delayed things or if it got lost in the mail...

The acceptance package = 5 pgs. (It says that you must submit FAFSA to receive merit- and need-based scholarships and other financial assistance.) FAFSA code: 002104

Was admitted on 12/19. Received it on 1/8.

Also, was anyone successful in creating UM ID Account?
