Hey all,
Lewis and Clark 1L checking in. Obviously finals are just around the corner so I may be in and out, but if you have any questions let me know. Best of luck everyone.

If it helps at all, I submitted my application on 10/23 last year and received my decision 12/5. I wouldn't expect a decision before then.

Yeah I have heard from a lot of alums at different colleges that the scholarship is totally negotiable. How do you go about that?

Any idea how not taking the optional interview will affect chances of admission? I recently underwent surgery and won't be in good condition to interview for a month. I'm an otherwise strong candidate, I think-- 4.0 GPA, 161 LSAT.
In retrospect, I probably should have added this as an addendum. Too bad I already submitted my application.

Seems like you're a strong candidate. I had mine about 2 weeks ago and admissions said that there are many students who do not interview.zippp wrote:Any idea how not taking the optional interview will affect chances of admission? Yeah you sound pretty strong! I had my interview back in October, I'm glued to my application status pages for all these schools.dr1366 wrote:Seems like you're a strong candidate. To be completely candid, I had no idea there was an optional interview for L&C. I lived in Portland when I applied. It didn't hurt my chances (3.7/165) so I doubt it will hurt yours...I feel confident saying you will be accepted.zippp wrote:Any idea how not taking the optional interview will affect chances of admission? Emschmitt, they have a page on their website. I think it's relatively hard to find the link, but if you ask admissions for it after you're accepted they are usually more than happy to send you the information. Just be upfront and assertive about it, no reason to beat around the bush.emschmitt3 wrote:Yeah I have heard from a lot of alums at different colleges that the scholarship is totally negotiable. So, I can log into the admitted students page (I get a congratulatory welcome page), but I haven't received any sort of mail, email, or phone call. I think I'm in?

Re: Lewis and Clark Law c/o 2018
I called the admissions office and didn't get much in the way of information (unsurprisingly). The woman I spoke with did say that emails and mailings should be going out this week, so hopefully we'll be out of limbo soon. I looked through past threads on Lewis & Clark;ChiefOstenaco wrote:I just tried it as well and it worked.
