Minnesota C/O 2018 Applicants

Post by Jumpman42 » Tue Nov 04, 2014 9:08 pm

Couldn't find a Minnesota thread for this cycle yet. Mine just went under review as of today. Anyone else thinking of coming to the frozen tundra of Minneapolis?

I'm also in review- I'm at undergrad here in the tundra. It's oddly warm for this time of the year...

Mine is no longer showing dates either. I have been in "under review" status since 10/13.

Don't worry, there's an arcade in the basement. Balances out, really

Anyone know what it means when the date disappears on the status checker?

Checking in. Applied 9/22, went complete 9/23. My status checker said "In Que to be Reviewed" or something along those lines for the longest. Now it says "Under Review" and the date has disappeared. Maybe this means decisions will be rolling out soon :D

Me too. Maybe it's a sign! No sign of a disappearing date last year. First TLS acceptance was 11/22. We're probably a few weeks out, but close :)

Checking in. Haven't applied yet as I am waiting until post December LSAT.

Are most of you from MN originally, or elsewhere?

Good luck to everyone!

I'm from Mississippi, though I've lived in Texas for about 6 years. I've never been to Minnesota, or anywhere in the Midwest, actually. I'm applying very broadly. Looks like a lot of people here are from MN/have gone to school in MN/ or are from the Midwest.

Good luck everyone! I'm keeping the faith that we'll see the first round of decisions this week.

Any applicants heard anything yet?

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I haven't applied yet as I am waiting for Dec LSAT but am super curious to hear how it's going for everyone.

I think it'll be awhile yet for most, they keep saying 8-10 weeks after your app goes complete

Well I'm going a little crazy waiting to hear about first decisions, so I can't imagine how you all must feel!

Where does Minnesota fall in your list? Bottom half, top half, top third, top quarter, top choice, etc?

Getting some stats up in here would be great, if people don't mind posting.

Good luck to everyone in the cycle!

Well now that our football team seems able to win games, it's right up there!

I know I've been under review since 9/30, so I'm hoping for good things. Minnesota is my target market but I'm also here for undergrad, so I wouldn't mind some variety before getting back and doing the job thing. Oddly enough Iowa seems poised to make that happen just as well as coming here might!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
