Navy -- Congratulations and thank you for your service. Also accepted 10/1. Feels good to know I'll be going somewhere. Waiting on a few others to really see where I'll end up. In my top 3.

Holy shit, 9% federal clerkships? That's insane.
It's pretty consistent from year to year, as well. Looks like the lowest was 7.4% in 2012. Gratz on Georgia.
Good luck in your cycles, peeps! And congrats to those who've already been admitted.
(I'm not applying this cycle, just watching from the sidelines)

I'm a 1L at UGA and I'm very happy with my choice so far.
Congrats to those who were accepted. If you have any questions, I can try to answer them the best I can.

Any thoughts on a lsat lower than the median (in the high 150s) but above a 3.8 GPA?
Also, did y'all apply early decision or just regular?

I applied regular with a below median LSAT & 3.75 GPA --and found out pretty early in the cycle that I was accepted -- so I think you have a decent shot. Think their 25% LSAT was 157/158 last year - so you'd be a splitter.

Would it hurt or help me to apply early decision?

Ha. I don't know about baller. Had to make up for sub par GPA somehow. What's more impressive to me is having a GPA over 3.5 for four years.. probably because I don't have one..navykev wrote:Jepper is a the big baller in the room with that 170 LSAT!carolinanne1 wrote:jepper- strong scores? I have also been interested in this information. If you check out last years thread, I think you will find some decent information. Looks to me like, if you're out of state, they will first give you instate tuition and then - depending on where you stack up - give you anywhere from an extra 2,500 to 12,500. This is going off what I saw other people saying from last cycle.
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Probably a long shot with a 157/3.66 but hopefully I jumped a few points with the September LSAT

Thanks for the reply, just saw it today. Someone in the admissions office called me and then was able to answer a few questions about it. She said they generally get together in November sometime to distribute scholarship offers to currently admitted students.
