Anyone know much about these? Where should I post to get responses?

Re: LLM Programs
LLM programs are typically a complete waste of time unless you're a foreign degree holder and you want to be able to sit for the bar in the United States. NYU's/GULC's Tax LLMs are decent if you have a background in tax + want to do tax law.
Outside than those two scenarios, run.

Re: LLM Programs
Anecdata:
Know a lady who immigrated from a Latin American country with the plan to practice law in America. She was practicing back home. LLM from Harvard was a part of her strategy.
Got the degree and no job. Complained that career services at Harvard was geared toward J.D.'s and employers weren't interested in her mass mailings. She's currently studying for the LSAT and planning on applying for the plain old J.D.. Don't know anything about her grades.
Those are all the details I know about the experience of someone with an LLM in America. Definitely curious to hear others if people have them.
