BC, or hold out for wait lists, or wait and reapply

Post by ohteachlaw » Mon May 26, 2014 6:31 pm

I've been accepted to BC with $22,000 a year and wait listed an UMN, Northwestern, and Vanderbilt. With savings and help from parents I can finish BC with no debt. I want to practice immigration and human rights law. Undergrad GPA 3.71 from large state school, LSAT 165 taken one time.

So, go BC, try hard to get off the wait lists, or wait a cycle and possibly retake the LSAT.

Also, I'm already 3 years out of UG, did TFA, and a female.

Thoughts?

Just retake. It sucks to extend the stress of LSAT and applying, but it's the right thing to do.

I am a (fairly miserable) current BC student with similar goals, numbers, and financial situation, and my candid advice is to retake, esp. since you applied so late. I'll regret for the rest of my life that I did not.
