I'm a little confused on the exact purpose that LEOP serves. Some say it's like a summer bridge program (an academic program at some of the UCs where applicants that would have not normally qualified for admission are admitted) whereas others say that it's like an add on program (you have to admitted to the university first, then into the program; in other words you can't be admitted through LEOP) I have read what it said on their site about it but it doesn't disclose much. If someone can clarify this it would be greatly appreciated.
