"The Office of Admissions has not slowed down during its busiest time of the year, despite all of the snow that New York City has received (approximately 42") this year! As our March 3 deadline approaches, we continue to receive applications and are working hard to select members of the Class of 2017. We hope that this edition of Commentaries finds you staying warm this winter and sharing our excitement over all of the latest news and events at Columbia Law School."

It's just the news update for Columbia Law. It has nothing to do with application status.lawschoolgal90 wrote:"The Office of Admissions has not slowed down during its busiest time of the year, despite all of the snow that New York City has received (approximately 42") this year! Roughly translated, they're saying, "jfc, people, we are aware that some applucants haven't gotten any sort of decision yet. We're working on it, so be patient and stop calling the admissions office so we can spend less time on the phone placating neurotic 0Ls and more time evaluating applications."
