Accepted a couple weeks ago. Going to visit for the first time in March. Zero scholarship money and out of state but one of my top choices

my visit went great. fayetteville is an incredible college town and the ozarks are just beautiful. and the law school seems to have a great relationship with tyson foods and walmart (both corporate headquarters are right down the road). also every big time public service attorney in the state seems to be a U of Ark grad. not a bad route at all

Yeah U of A is thought of VERY highly throughout the state of Arkansas, Little Rock included. Just realize that it's not mobile at all. Once you cross the Arkansas border in any direction, the prestige vanishes instantly.

this is true unfortunately, the people at the school told me that there was a texas bar chapter for arkansas alums so theres probably some arkansas grads that make it there.

I have a friend there. Bill Clinton shows up to games occasionally and I get super jealous she's in the same room.

They told me they place well in St. Louis and D.C. because I mentioned those as areas I was interested in after graduation. I think they could see the look of skepticism/amusement on my face.

Edit: I should add for anyone reading that I won't end up here unless my first two options don't come through with $$.

I'm in Arkansas, but I'm at UA Little Rock William H Bowen Law because of >$$ than UA Fay offered me.
With that said, I went to Fayetteville for undergrad and it's an amazing campus and community. You'll have a good time!

If you're ever in LR (a lot of UA-F students clerk here during the summer) feel free to message me!

Just looked online and saw that a decision has been made so now I'm just waiting for the letter to come in.

Anyone get in via the "Index Admissions"? I'm wondering how it works. The website makes it sound as if you're auto-admit as long as you meet the index. (Applying this coming cycle)

That is correct. If you meet the index number, you are an auto-admit.

The free app may influence me to apply here. I go to UG in Arkansas, and I'm sure they'd give me a lot of $$. I just really dont wanna end up here lol. I wanna end up in private law in Texas or the DC area. I have heard that the value is really good though for public though and, if you guys havent seen it yet, fayetteville is AWESOME.
