When did you submit?Moonlight wrote: I was admitted recently with a nice scholarship offer. Depends on when you submitted. By the way, is anyone concerned about USF grad employment rate? And the fact that US News seems to be riding USF really hard as its now ranked 144?
I am waiting to hear back from them and a bunch of other locals so I can begin my negotiations in earnest.
The drop in numbers doesn't bother me because I am interested in PD work and I know I have a hard road ahead, regardless. You could even look at their drop in rank as a bonus, if price is your main concern, because it makes negotiations easier when you are accepted at higher ranked places around town.
Good luck to you, Moonlight

My acceptance/nice scholly has been in my spam folder since 12/23/13. In case you're wondering where your email/$ is...it might be there.

Yes re. Dean's Scholly. No actual packet yet. Just an email. They offered me enough to make it dirt-cheap, but I'm not sure I really want to go there. This is a difficult decision! I have some awesome colleagues who went to USF SOL and loved it/have been consistently employed since graduation but I really do not want to live/spend a lot of time in San Francisco.Moonlight wrote:lol. Go somewhere you're not crazy about for next-to-nothing or go somewhere you're interested in attending for ~45k of debt after graduation?

Hello!
Recently admitted, just for those who are still waiting, some dates/stats:
157/3.04 (on the low end, but still managed to get 27k scholly/yr, so you guys may be in luck!)
Sent: 12/20
Complete: 1/7
Decision Rendered: 1/29
Email containing acceptance/scholly info came on the same day, but went to my spam, so I was freaking out about not getting an email. According to my research, email=accepted, waitlist/rejected is via snail mail. So make sure to add them to your contacts!
Congrats to those who were accepted, good luck to everyone else

I was accepted via email to the part time program.
147/3.7
I did not receive scholarship information but did get invited to an admitted student's weekend as well as an invitation to tour the school and have lunch with a faculty member. Apparently I also have to attend a 3 week seminar (Academic Support program). I'm guessing that has something to do with my low LSAT score.
I lived SF for 7+ years but I am looking forward to being a student in SF (went to Berkeley for undergrad). If anyone has questions about the city I'd be more than happy to help. I know the city pretty well. Whether I attend will depend on what type of scholarship I am offered.
