Has telling a school you would pay sticker to attend ever worked?

And if so are you actually held to that commitment?

Penn told me over the phone when they called to gauge interest that there was no merit money left and asked if that would impact my decision to attend. I said it wouldn't and was accepted a few days later. I would say I was being truthful since I'm anticipating need-based aid anyway...
