Hello everyone,

I started this post as s support group for those of you placed on the UW wait list. It might be helpful to share information as we are all impatiently waiting for a decission.

I applied as ED, was deferred, and then placed on the wait list on Feb 14th. My numbers are 160/3.4....not that great

Hope there are others to join this thread. I know how wrecking is the waiting process!

Called the school yesterday and was told that there should be some movement in the next 2-3 weeks. Otherwise, they are quite secretive regarding the wait list....not sure how long it is or how many students they expect to take off this year.

Did you try to call them after April 15 deadline?

I am on the waitlist too. I called the admissions office last week and was told along the lines that
there are not many seats available. And they had sent out offers to those on the waitlist weeks before and were waiting for
their decisions.

I was told today that they released some students from the waitlist already & they are still not sure about the size of the incoming class. However, they didn't want to disclose the size of the waitlist.

My guess is that there will prbl accept a few more just before school starts, but not too much hope.

Also, since we haven't been released from the waitlist, do you mind sharing your numbers? It might help getting an idea of what they are looking for if seats open ( my numbers are in profile)
