My new bad habit
Checking all of my law school application statuses is becoming a habit at the end of each day. I feel like once I find out from everyone, I won't know what to do, it is part of my daily routine now.
Anyone else feeling the same way?

End of each day? So you don't check your status a thousand times throughout the day, sometimes 8 minutes after you just checked it? That's will power.akasabian wrote:Checking all of my law school application statuses is becoming a habit at the end of each day. I think the least I've ever managed to check in one day was three times...

I went a whole day this week without checking any statuses. It was craziness.

I have a few schools I check multiple times a day, but a few of my schools luckily disclose that they only update 1x a day.racrfish wrote:I think the least I've ever managed to check in one day was three times...
Still regardless, I'm creating this bad habit. Dear law schools, just tell me so I can make my choice? I don't even care where I get in to at this point. Just tell me.

Fun fact: schools can track how many times you log into your status checker, unfortunately it does nothing to improve your application.

For real though. I think it's exciting honestly. Can't deny the stress though.2012Lsatscore wrote:Br3v wrote:Eh, you only get to apply to law school once (usually) enjoy it.

Do these schools include Vanderbilt and Michigan?

Nah the Texas Tech dean posted in her thread about how she didnt realize that info was saved (after originally posting they didnt track logins). So they do, they just don't look at it, but it really doesn't matter.racrfish wrote:Can, but likely don't.

I check my app statuses once a day but I check my emails for law school correspondence every chance I get throughout the day.

I mean, I DO have great legs and have received multiple compliments on my eyelashes, but really? Did someone run my posts through one of those FBI profiling programs and learn something I should know?wannabelawstudent wrote: Nah the Texas Tech dean posted inherhis thread about howshehe didnt realize that info was saved (after originally posting they didnt track logins). I never check mine... Then again, I don't plan on attending this year since I'm going to retake my LSAT. That's probably why...

Re: My new bad habit
But do you check the TLS acceptances forum and LSN as obsessively? Do you know which of the schools you applied to release acceptances on Fridays, and which ones on Mondays? Which schools will have a new round of admits only NEXT month? Are you a slave to decision rendered dates?
Do you hate the weekends because no decisions are released/is the weekend the only time you can get anything done because you're not obsessively checking?
I'm trying to only check around 5ish every day but I haven't been able to achieve that quite yet. Maybe if we all hold hands and sing kumbaya...
