I applied EA but still nothing! I went for a tour right before Thanksgiving and the lady that works in admissions told me no earlier than today or tomorrow.

Just went complete and received my status checker today. Applied 12/1. Complete 12/13.

Geez that took long! I'm guessing I won't hear back till after Christmas...

did anyone get 2 acceptance emails? I got one as a transfer student and then one as an incoming JD student...I am not a transfer student so I'm hoping they don't have me mis-categorized.

Accepted today via email. I had previously been placed on the waitlist. I applied in October for the non-binding EA decision, and was w/l'd on the status checker on the 15th of December. It's strange that just 4 days later they changed their minds and decided to admit me. Maybe they were just overwhelmed with EA apps and didn't get to look at them all by the 15th, which was their EA deadline.

Anyway, I would need serious $$ in order to seriously consider attending. I'm on the GI Bill and NY isn't very military friendly as far as educational assistance goes. Anyone know when they will be awarding scholarships?

Last year they sent out $$$ info in January.

I just got my wait-list letter today, and it was dated Jan. 2nd although I've known via status-checker since mid-Dec.
I think they just started mailing out letters after the new year.

Ok, this is weird. I sent in my app via LSAC on Tuesday of last week. I had not gotten any confirmation that my app was received so I called today and asked if they would be sending a link for the status checker. They told me that it can take up to a week to get a confirmation email. And just now (7 hours after the call) I got an acceptance email.

I'm fairly certain they made a mistake but that's f'd up. I'm going to call tomorrow to figure out what the deal is. As a future lawyer, I should probably either argue them into accepting me or fight for money due to emotional trauma and loss of workplace productivity.

Nope. Nothing yet. But they did send me a bunch of follow up emails about Admitted Sudent Days so I may actually be in despite the suspiciously hasty response. I don't think they send $$$ info with acceptance though...

Did anyone else receive an information session email? I submitted my application on 1/10 and still haven't received a status checker or acknowledgement that they received my application, so I don't know if I should call the admissions office

I just got off the phone with admissions. I applied on 1/8 via LSAC. I got my acceptance email yesterday (super fast) though I never got a status checker. Apparently, they are still going sending out status checkers because they got backed up over the break. My status checker never came because of an error or something but I wouldn't fret if you just applied on 1/10.

Yea I did but I was already waitlisted so it's definitely default to all applicants. Hope they didn't send it to anyone who was rejected because that's just wrong. I took it as a slap in the face even though my hopes aren't completely shot. They really should monitor their default e-mail list once they start making decisions.
