Does anyone know how long acceptance packets take after the status checker tells you you're in?

Thank you! I called them today about the information days for admitted students and slipped in a question about scholarships. They won't release any information... but they did say it may be 2 weeks before we get the packets =(Perstephanie wrote:Haha I live an hour from Syracuse and still haven't heard anything, but I'll keep you posted!meepmeep17 wrote:I was going to ask the same question... I think I'm in. Status checker hasn't changed but they sent me information for applying for aid and how to set up syracuse ID and myslice account. Anyone else have something like this happen?

They do that for every applicant. That doesn't mean you got in =( sorry! BUT they have been posting decisions left and right, so hopefully you'll know something.Acronin689 wrote:I think I'm in. Where did admitted students see their scholarship information? I am above both 75th percentiles for LSAT and GPA and have nothing in my acceptance packet about scholarships beside a $4000 grant eligibility.

It was another letter like the acceptance letter, only it starts out with them being pleased to inform you that you have been selected to receive a Trustees Scholarship or whatever. Honestly I just glanced at the letters until I saw numbers haha

Re: Syracuse co/ 2016 applicants
Thank you guys! I emailed financial aid... I always assumed that if your numbers were higher than the median or 75th that schools would offer you something. I got a 32k offer from Albany, and I wasn't expecting Cuse to be that high, but at least 20k. I guess I was wrong. Idk, thank you guys for answering so promptly!Perstephanie wrote:It was another letter like the acceptance letter, only it starts out with them being pleased to inform you that you have been selected to receive a Trustees Scholarship or whatever. It could be a case of them assuming you we're not interested due to your numbers. A short email detailing your desire to attend with another offer or two from similar schools attached should get you some aid.

Ya I made sure to mention that Syracuse was a top choice for me. I'm not going to bring in Albany unless they refuse to offer me anything.Pip42 wrote:meepmeep17 wrote:Thank you guys! $30,000 Orange Scholarship congrats to everyone else, sounds like they're giving out their larger offerings early in the cycle this year.
