Who are they kidding around with, offering you only that amount with your numbers? Unless they've just completely given up on remaining a T1 school and plan to drop another 10 spots next year (or have secret plans to slash tuition by 50%, which in fairness would prob be better for everyone)WisemanAEKDB wrote:177. 15k. Since you turned down Davis, and I'm sure you've got great offers from your numbers, have you chosen a school yet?KingFish wrote:Rightgitguy wrote:Merit aid not grant aid, right?

Nope. Still waiting on a bunch of schools. Would love to stay in California if possible though.WisemanAEKDB wrote:Since you turned down Davis, and I'm sure you've got great offers from your numbers, have you chosen a school yet?

I can't access the status check page right now. It redirects me to "Error 400 - Bad File Request".
Edit: worked on the fourth try. Weird!

Not expecting anything this week. like USC, Davis is also on break now, so probably nothing is going on.

Anyone else besides the two listed here on merit aid? Just waiting for that magic phone call regarding how I was magically selected for a full tuition. One can dream, right?

Re: Davis c/o 2016
I hate to tell you guys, and I know this 100% outs myself to adcoms, but my merit aid was raised this morning from 6k-11k a year. I actually think this is a good sign towards my potential of going there. If I get the maximum 30k need-based aid then that's almost full tuition. I was only estimated at 14k need baised though so we'll see.
What I also don't understand is that I requested to sit in on a class weeks ago and had no response from that end. I could hound then more about it I suppose.

I'm worried I won't get any need aid and merit will be minimal making Davis impossible for me to attend :/Micdiddy wrote:I hate to tell you guys, and I know this 100% outs myself to adcoms, but my merit aid was raised this morning from 6k-11k a year. Well, considering Michigan is still offering me more at the moment, there's a good chance this money will go back in the pool.teiswei wrote:I'm worried I won't get any need aid and merit will be minimal making Davis impossible for me to attend :/Micdiddy wrote:I hate to tell you guys, and I know this 100% outs myself to adcoms, but my merit aid was raised this morning from 6k-11k a year. Anyone heard anything on when the rest of us will get merit aid offers? That was supposed to be a week ago. This is making things sticky with the upcoming fee deposit deadlines.

Dat merit scholarship. Albeit a small offer, I am very thrilled to have received an offer.

Congrats, Wiseman! I know you were really antsy about that. Will their offer push you over to acceptance or are you still on the fence?WisemanAEKDB wrote:Dat merit scholarship. Albeit a small offer, I am very thrilled to have received an offer.

Still on the fence. Davis is OOS for me and I currently live 1 block from a T50 that offered me a huge offer, so still weighing. Excited for ASW though!FortunaGubernans wrote:Congrats, Wiseman!
