Whatever happened to merit aid decisions going out last Friday? For that matter, whatever happened to my life before I started applying to law school??

I don't think we, or anyone else, is actually getting merit aid. I heard of one person earlier in this thread getting $6k/yr. I definitely can't afford this being OOS, soooooo... come on Davis!

I got 15k/yr but I withdrew, so it's back in the pool.

Who are they kidding around with, offering you only that amount with your numbers? Unless they've just completely given up on remaining a T1 school and plan to drop another 10 spots next year (or have secret plans to slash tuition by 50%, which in fairness would prob be better for everyone)

hey guys, i am wondering one question, in case i full time study at Davis for 1L, will my grant for 2L increase? there should be no stipulation on the GPA for grants, right?

Nope. Still waiting on a bunch of schools. Would love to stay in California if possible though.

Looks like 2/27. I submitted 1/8 and went complete 1/21

I hate to tell you guys, and I know this 100% outs myself to adcoms, but my merit aid was raised this morning from 6k-11k a year. I actually think this is a good sign towards my potential of going there. If I get the maximum 30k need-based aid then that's almost full tuition. I was only estimated at 14k need baised though so we'll see.
What I also don't understand is that I requested to sit in on a class weeks ago and had no response from that end. I could hound then more about it I suppose.

Well, considering Michigan is still offering me more at the moment, there's a good chance this money will go back in the pool.

Still on the fence. Davis is OOS for me and I currently live 1 block from a T50 that offered me a huge offer, so still weighing. Excited for ASW though!
