Just applied last week...status checker says they're still waiting for the hard copy from LSAC as of 1/07. fml.

I'm OOS, and I'm hoping I don't get that essay. I'm taking a million credits this semester to graduate early enough for law school, and the last thing I need to is to return to my personal statement-esque glory days.

I am URM, NA, planning to study Indian law, so I'd really like to have MSU as an option. Waiting to see all/any of my acceptances before I decide for sure though. Mich is so cold..

I got in with a 75% tuition scholarship, but I'm having a hard time deciding between MSU, Ohio State, Iowa, Illinois and Indiana. MSU was my biggest scholarship, but I've heard MSU puts all of the scholarship kids in one section so then the curve will mean some of them lose their money. Is there any truth to that?

likewise

167/3.3 so I should get in, at least I really hope so as it will give me another big ten school with a look and Michigan would be a fine state to live in

Just got a phone call from Ms. Gabbara where she told me I have been accepted with a 25% Trustee's Scholarship. That's some exciting news! :) anyone think this scholarship can be negotiated for a little more? I was really hoping for 50%, but I guess that's me being greedy.

In today via phone call with a 75% trustee scholarship. Applied 11/30, numbers are 3.6/161. It's a tempting offer, but I'm kind of itching to get out of Michigan after 22 years here...

East Lansing is a fun town, but I feel like it caters more to the undergrad crowd. I went to Michigan for undergrad and loved visiting my friends and my brother at State on weekends--it definitely is known as a party school. Can't really speak to what it would be like being a law/grad student there though, probably a whole different experience. If anyone has questions about the area, I might be able to answer some of them!

I've also heard this slightly scary rumor. What have you heard on the contrary?

I was a student with a scholarship and those I knew with scholarships were spread out through the different sections.

Hi y'all! I applied on the 12/21 but didn't go complete until 1/11. I'm looking to go to a Chicago school but MSU seems like a good fit!

In with $$ via status checker as of today! Surprised I got any money at all, guessing the scholarship will be small. Maybe being an undergrad here actually helped? If I stay in Michigan I'll probably go to MSU now.

I'm in with a 50% scholarship! I got a phone call yesterday telling me the news.

25% tuition renewable as long as I maintain a 2.5, chance to get more if I do really well 1L. Pretty happy about this.

Anyone else heard back from MSU yet? I submitted my application 1/5, and it is now "sent to committee for review as of 1/15. Do you think I'm looking at another month of waiting?? It seems like they're responding fairly quickly to everyone here.

I checked the online status 2 days ago and it says I have been accepted with scholarship. From what I have read everyone has found out their scholly amount via mail and telephone? Anyway for me to find out how much the scholly is for other than waiting for mail or a call?

You should receive an email informing you of your admission and the scholarship award they're offering you. If you haven't received it yet, I am sure you'll receive it sometime soon.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
