Were you registered for Dec. LSAT/are you registered for Feb. LSAT? Has your app gone complete yet?
Yeah I went complete as of 11/14. I sent them an email at the end of December asking them to hold my file until they got my grades and my file updated almost 2 weeks ago. I just want to be in the review process.

At least historically. It's all kinds of crazy this year.

What about the Hutchison? Is that a new thing this year?

I guess not, but I don't know any. I guess it's not a bunch of people.

Does anyone know when they start selecting Sumners "finalists?" I would guess sometime after the deadline is passed or after students have paid their first seat deposit. If anyone is familiar with the timeline and format that would be willing to share, that'd be great.

My year it was fairly soon after they were due in February. Definitely by early March.

Wow, thanks for this.

Did they call for interviews by March?

AHHHH! Sorry. I meant the Hughes scholarship. I'm sorry for the confusion. I have no clue regarding the Sumners, but I have a friend who has it, so I'll ask her and get back to you.

Your lucky night. She was on facebook. She said that they found out they got it before last week in March, and she interviewed the second week of March.

No worries. I am mailing my application for Hughes tomorrow. How many do they typically award?

I went complete on 11-21, and received a phone call a few weeks later asking which program I preferred FT or PT. I took this as a pretty good sign (I at least wasn't an automatic no), but now I am starting to worry a bit after seeing how many people have already gotten the nod this year. Just wondering if it is likely that they are holding off on my decision to see if they can give me FT, and if they typically wait longer to give out PT decisions? Trying to alleviate my obsessive status checker problem

I was accepted PT on about March 15 during my cycle. Based on the postings in this forum, it seemed that there was a big wave of PT acceptances around that time. So, it could be a while before you hear anything.

I got that, too! I was hoping when I opened it that it was scholarship related. But I did notice that there is a listing under "Mailings" in status checker that something was sent out today. Maybe that was it?

Oh snap. I see that, too. However, that may be the mass email they just sent out to the admits.
