status checker said 'decision made and letter sent ' at 12/31/2012, but didn't get my letter until last week.. In with 25,000$ a year.

It's kind of odd that they don't just send emails to everyone, I wonder what determines whether they send one. Maybe it's the fact that its getting later in the cycle?
