Already went complete and to review
Very impressed with the speed of Indiana's admissions, wish some other schools were like this

Re: Indiana-Bloomington Class of 2016
Just got my acceptance letter e-mailed to me as promised by the woman I spoke to on the phone this morning. All it says regarding scholarships is:
Wut. Hasn't everyone else just been getting offered a certain dollar amount in their letter? Kind of confused by this, especially since people with numbers similar/lower than mine are getting offered more than $75k.In recognition of your academic achievement, you have also been selected to interview for one of this year’s Law School Merit Scholarships. This scholarship award ranges from $30,000 – $75,000 (based on non-resident status) to be divided equally over your three years in law school. The Admissions Committee finds these interviews helpful in their process of determining scholarship awards.
The interview will be an opportunity for you to meet with our alumni and admissions staff. The interviews will be held on Saturday, February 16th at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, 77 W. Wacker Drive (United Building – Clark & Wacker), Chicago, IL 60601 and will last approximately 20 minutes.
We will be able to interview 40 students between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Please email Sam Kwak, Director of Admissions at samkwak@indiana.edu, prior to January 31st, if you would like to arrange an interview time. If the 40 interview spots are filled early we will create a waitlist. Please note that while the interviews are not mandatory, if you are unable to attend, please contact Sam to discuss alternative arrangements. Once you confirm your attendance with Sam, we will follow-up with further details and your designated interview time.

Re: Indiana-Bloomington Class of 2016
Exactly... so I have to drive 4 hours to interview for the chance to get less than what people with my numbers have already gotten without interviewing? I'm considering telling them I can't make it and seeing what they offer anyway.

Law Day is March 23rd. You should start seeing emails about it soon. I just got the inside scoop about it after speaking with the admissions. I will def be in attendance.

I received the same interview as the poster from DC about interviewing for the purpose of admissions but mine is in Chicago at the same building and time as those going to interview for merit aid.

Re: Indiana-Bloomington Class of 2016
I received the same email inviting me to interview in DC on February 9th (for admission, no mention of merit aid). I sent an email to Sam Kwak per the email's instructions, but I have not received any confirmation or acknowledgment. Has anyone been through this process and can you let us know what to expect? Are there any statistics regarding folks who have interviewed and offers of admission? Thanks!

My wife has a theory she heard that if there is a picture requirement then you are in, i can not confirm or deny so im trying to do some reasearch and see if it can be an indication of acceptance without having to wait for the snail mail.

With my acceptance letter came a form that listed things I need to submit to them by the time classes start if I'm going to accept the offer. A picture of yourself is part of the list

Indiana resident. Just got decision made today. Keeping my fingers crossed for good news.Kajual wrote:So...what you guys take on Bloomington? anyone been there?
Been to Bloomington a couple of time. Really gorgeous campus, especially during the spring when all of the flowers bloom.
It's definitely a liberal oasis in a mostly conservative state.

Hey guys, my status checker just changed to "Decision Made"
What happens next? Acceptance/Denial in same package as scholly information via snail mail only?
Is there anyway to find out if we got in prior to getting that package? this is killing me!

I got an email saying that I was chosen to interview with the school in February in DC. Anybody know what this means? I assume it makes me a borderline candidate but does this mean I have a good shot of getting in? Has anyone else interviewed there/ know what it's like? I didn't expect to be interviewing with anyone so I'm pretty nervous.
Thanks!
Hey Bulls1990, I got my email the same day you did. I think it means that we are borderline candidates as well. I would also like to know the answers to these questions....
