Packet arrived today. 15k scholarship. I've got more than double that at Loyola, does anyone know if they will match, because both schools are similarly ranked and in the same city(ish)? Stats in my profile.

I'm also curious about this--anybody have any info? On a more general note, do negotiations typically entail more strict stipulations (even if they don't meet the amount of the next higher-up merit scholarship)?

Hey All;

I'm currently a Pepperdine 3L doing a year long study abroad in Germany. I am trying to find out exactly when welcome week starts (as I'm helping the German exchange students for next semester book flights and plan accommodations, etc.,). This information isn't published on the website, but if memory serves me correctly, the start date was including in your acceptance packets before it was available on the website. Could someone let me know when exactly WW begins?

Hey guys
So I got in a couple of weeks ago (with 20k renewable, which is nice) and today I decided to check their WaveNet site where you're supposed to be able to manage a bunch of stuff including financial stuff etc. I was able to get an account and log in fine, but whenever I try to go to the application center, it says I'm not authorized to see that section. Is anyone else having problems/had problems with their site...?

Just received my acceptance package. 26k/yr I only need to remain in good academic standing. The money is lower than I would have liked, but a stipulation only requiring good academic standing is very attractive.

Yeah, the weird part is when the date changes, but your status doesn't. I went complete on 11/30, and then the date changed in January. I've been in review since 1/10 also. Allegedly (that's a lawyer word), we could be waiting "approximately" another four weeks.

At this point, though, I'm not sure I'd go even if they accept me. Even though Pepperdine is closer to my house, I'm leaning toward Loyola, which has already accepted me.

Loyola is a great school- I know of those who've gone there and been very successful with job placements! I would have gone to Loyola (was my ED school) but didn't get in.

I don't remember how long I was in review, but i went complete-> decision rendered in about 20 days. I hope that helps some (I can't remember if you are automatically being reviewed once complete or not :/)

Here is my actual time able for those wondering, I realized I posted it earlier

Just got the status update saying I am in. Now I must anxiously wait for my acceptance letter and hope for some scholarship money.

Another important factor in finding out is whether you applied for Faculty Scholars or not. Even if you aren't really eligible (or at least what they recommend), I've heard that you find out about acceptances quicker, because they make decisions on all those applicants relatively quickly.

The finalists I believe have all been notified, I think there should be snail mail coming in the next few days saying yay or nay on it.

Yup. I got a snail mail letter on 2/9 telling me I was not selected.

Did it take a while for anyone to go from Incomplete to Complete? The only thing missing is my CAS report, but most other schools have been pretty quick with getting that processed. It was sent according to LSAC but I've been incomplete since 1/31.
