For whatever it's worth, I withdrew months ago and got an email just the other day (a generic form letter) that upped my scholarship by a significant amount and asked me to reconsider. Idk how many other people they sent that to.

That's pretty amazing. Since there are people who genuinely want to go there, who would attend even without a scholarship and still excel. Kinda leaves a bad taste in the mouth knowiny that's the game they are playing.

Everyone is trying to boost median numbers, this is just one way to do it.

That's what I figured, since their ranking dropped along w other CA schools. Eh, u cant appeal to whats fair or justified...they obviously can do as they wish.

I've been in review since 3/22 as well. I read somewhere in this thread that we will not see any chances until the next deposit date, which is sometime in July. Best of luck!

Well I was actually under review since 3/22 and my status checker has updated to decision rendered. So I will keep whoever is posted on what my decision is for the people who are still waiting.

Ive already gotten waitlist reconfirmations from other schools ive been waitlisted at. I feel pepperdine is in a world of its own...It attracts students bc of its unique location and upper class feel, but how does it truly compare education wise? Ive sat in on classes from pepperdine and from southwestern- both profs were superb..which gets me thinking that its just about reputation- southwestern accepts ppl w 145 lsat scores while pepperdine does not. What do ppl think about this observation?

Actually, my status changed to decision rendered on 6/12 (I hadn't checked until now). I have yet to receive my letter in the mail.

Does Pepperdine not send e-mails? What if my letter does not come in the mail, as it should have arrived today.

I got in during regular acceptances, not off WL, but I found out I got in through the mail before email.

Are your stats legit? Seems odd a 172/3.5 would get waitlisted while lower numbers that withdrew are getting solicited with scholarship increases...

I know there are a few people who recently got off the WL from what I've seen on Facebook...and they come out with the class sections very soon, so I wouldn't plan on much movement (if any) on the WL from here on out.

Orientation begins tomorrow, don't plan on getting in off the waitlist. It's probably not going to happen.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
