I'll still justify it in the end. So much easier than blaming my application. ETA: Also it was a joke about being a Bruin. Went FR last Friday. Dinged via snail mail today. No email sent to me.
It's not my time, and looks like I'm going to aim for a 170 this June and reapply next cycle. Good luck to the rest of you all.

I also got my scholarship offer. Not enough for me to attend unfortunately, I just would not be able to afford it. I will try negotiating but I am very doubtful it will be successful since I have yet to receive offers from peer schools.

Aaaaannnd...finally got the ding via snail mail. That's alright USC. I have an interview with my alma mater UCLA this week. Maybe I'm only allowed one miracle this cycle? If so, I'd rather it be UCLA.

Has anyone who was accepted on or after Friday the 15th received scholarship information? Ugh, I wish any news of money came with the acceptance like other schools.

So...is FR without an acceptance email a sign of the worst?

Honestly not good enough for USC lol.anteater1 wrote:also CR1 from 2/12, what are your stats?Allie wrote:I kinda wonder what they're doing with my app over there. I'm still in CR1 which is weirdddd. Like if it was in CR2 I'd just figure they were waiting to send out a wave of rejections/waitlists or whatever but what are they doing with it in CR1 for this long? It can't honestly be THAT amusing. Silly USC.
GPA: 3.8
LSAT: 161
I'm just really curious by now (and kinda want the cycle to just be over already heh).

People who've gotten dinged HAVE went to decision rendered, I believe. But the longer the wait until DR is, I think it is a bad sign (since we know quick turnarounds have happened). Let's just hope the bad news happens tomorrow and isn't delayed.

I think they just sent out those who were accepted on 3/8, so you probably have another week ahead of you to waitPierrot wrote:Has anyone who was accepted on or after Friday the 15th received scholarship information? Ugh, I wish any news of money came with the acceptance like other schools.

Rejected today as well. LA might easily be my least favorite city in the world, so I'm not disappointed; and yet I still would have considered attending if admitted because I don't think the school would have tied me down to LA. I care more about how a school will help me in my career than where it's located. Also have been waitlisted at some T14s, so I guess feelings between LA and me are mutual. That was more information than anyone cares about I'm sure. Just typing my thoughts as I have them. Haha.

Thanks, you guys are pretty awesome. If you're the type of people I'd have ended up meeting in LA, I would have probably loved it.slack_academic wrote:If you really dislike Los Angeles this much, maybe it's for the best. And Retake, my buddy! I'll end up somewhere I'll like--have some awesome options. Going on a week or so trip to visit all these schools before deposits are due. Super proud of you for your cycle!
